First of all, I would like to say that after two years of aimlessly strolling to the Hudson and gazing at the pretty patio of an unknown restaurant, I finally found its entrance. If you have still not managed to find the way in, know that Hudson Clearwater lives up to its 4.0 on Yelp and 4.1 on Menupages. I personally give the brunch a full 5.0. Reasons being a) fresh juice (with your choice of three fruits) b) smoked salmon c) ON toasts WITH lemon creme fraiche. Salmon is my weakness, but smoked salmon for brunch can be boring. I loved the restaurant’s twist that made it so much more appealing – using Russ and daughters lox, whole grain toast, caper berries and dill. I’m usually not the one to get lucky with rain or heat in New York but today was perfect for brunch in their patio. If the weather is so kind again, I will be back for the dinner menu. Now that I know the way in through the door.
